Beyond's daughter fanfic

"Beyond...?'' L asked Watari, pacing around the room with his back arched down, as usual.
"Beyond has a daughter..?'' L questioned once more.
Watari looked up from his laptop screen and nodded. "And she's on her way here..." Watari stated. L stopped pacing and looked at Watari. "Where are her parents?" L asked, sitting down with his knees near his chest.
"Beyond killed her mother...and Beyond left his daughter...But some nice people saw her and took her to the local hospital because she was dehydrated. She will be arriving from the hospital in a bit" Watari answered.
L looked out the window with a worried look. He felt bad because he would always speak ill of Beyond Birthday in front of everyone at Wammy's...They'll probably view his innocent daughter as evil as him..."What's her name?" L asked while popping a sugar cube into his mouth. "I don't know" the old man said, running his fingers thru his grey hair.
Just then, two boys ran into L's office. One who is blonde, wearing all black and one with red hair, holding a handheld game device. "Mello, Matt, what happened?" L asked, slightly tilting his head. "She's here" said the blonde. L immediatly stood up as he heard little footsteps come towards the door. Slowly, the brown, woodendoor opened, revealing a little girl. Everyone in the office stopped and looked at the girl...the spitting image of Beyond Birthday...red eyes..black hair...pale skin...serious expression. "Daddy?" the little girl questioned, looking at L with big eyes. L looked back with a confused face until he remembered that he looks just like Beyond. "N-No but I am your uncle, L" L replied. The little child looked down and held the pendant that was a B...Beyond's signature letter..."What's your name?'' Mello asked, standing next to the girl who was only a year younger than him. "Hotaru..." she answered. Everyone looked at her once more, realizing what the namemeans. Hotaru means darkness anddespair in japanese..."My name meanshow my life is'' Hotaruwhispered, looking at the numbers floating above everyone's heads with her Shinigami eyes..."I can see the numbers"Hotaru whispered again.
